2024 Schmalz Cup Finals Begin May 9th in Clarington

The 2024 Schmalz Cup Finals schedule has been released, with the finals beginning on May 9th in Clarington. The Clarington Eagles and the Lakeshore Canadiens will face off in a 7-game series, with the winner of said series being awarded the Schmalz Cup Trophy.

The Lakeshore Canadiens locked up their finals berth on Saturday May 4th, winning their series with the New Hamburg Firebirds in six games. The Clarington Eagles completed their series with the Hanover Barons on Sunday May 5th, winning in six games as well. The two teams have played in 5 rounds of playoff hockey to get to this point.

Home ice advantage was decided with a coin flip. With Clarington winning the coin flip, they will host the deciding final game on Monday May 20th should the series need 7 games.
