2024 Schmalz Cup Finals Begin May 9th in Clarington

The 2024 Schmalz Cup Finals schedule has been released, with the finals beginning on May 9^th in Clarington. The Clarington Eagles and the Lakeshore Canadiens will face off in a 7-game series, with the winner of said series being awarded the Schmalz Cup Trophy.

The Lakeshore Canadiens locked up their finals berth on Saturday May 4^th, winning their series with the New Hamburg Firebirds in six games. The Clarington Eagles completed their series with the Hanover Barons on Sunday May 5^th, winning in six games as well. The two teams have played in 5 rounds of playoff hockey to get to this point.

Home ice advantage was decided with a coin flip. With Clarington winning the coin flip, they will host the deciding final game on Monday May 20th should the series need 7 games.
