The PJHL are pleased to announce that Trevor Urquhart of the Clarington Eagles and Ayden Bulmer of the Lakefield Chiefs have been named the Player Of The Month for the East Conference for the month of December.
Orr Division – Trevor Urquhart has been a dominate force once again for the month of December for the Eagles. In six games, Urquhart has put up six goals and 10 assists for 16 points, helping the Eagles carry a 6-1-0-0 record in that span. Trevor has put up 19 goals and 32 assists for the season, surpassing the 50 point mark for the second time in his PJHL career. Urquhart is well on pace for passing his career high in goals, and 20 points away from passing his career high in points. Urquhart and the Eagles will look to make another deep run in the Schmalz Cup playoffs come spring.
Tod Division – Ayden Bulmer had a strong month, picking up three out of four wins in the month of December. In that span, Bulmer has carried an impressive 1.54 GAA, and a 0.958 SV%, along with one shutout. In Lakefield’s first season in the Tod division, Bulmer has been a strong contributing factor in Lakefield’s 21 wins this season, picking up 9 wins so far on the season. In the 2024-25 season, Bulmer has a 2.42 GAA, and a 0.928 SV% in his first PJHL season, which is good enough to be tied for 8th among all PJHL goalies in save percentage.
Congratulations to both players on the achievement!
