Cambridge, ON – The PJHL are pleased to announce that Seth Kirou of the Georgina Ice and Michael Patrick of the Napanee Raiders have been named the Player Of The Month for the East Conference for the month of November.
Tod Division – Michael Patrick was one of the most productive players in the PJHL during the month of November, tallying 12 goals and 10 assists. His 22 points was good enough for 2nd among PJHL skaters for the month. Patrick has already blasted past his career high point total with 44 points on the year so far and is tied with this current high in goals with 18. The Codrington native sits tied for ninth in scoring across the league, and has helped the Raiders amass six wins over the month.
“Michael, who is playing in his OA year, led the Raiders and was 2nd in the entire PJHL with 22pts in 10 games. He averaged over a goal a game totaling 12 in the month as it helped Napanee climb up in the divisional standings.”
Orr Division – Seth Kirou was acquired from the Paris Titans on October 8th, and has had an immediate impact on the Georgina team. Over nine games played, Kirou has amassed seven goals and 13 assists for 20 points. Since being acquired, the Woodbridge native had 14 goals and 20 assists for 34 points in 17 games, and now leads the Ice in scoring. Seth picked up most of his November points at event strength, and finds himself sitting tied for 11th in scoring across the league. Kirou has helped his team pick up six wins in a highly competitive Orr division, and the team currently sits second in the conference.
“Seth, the ’04 forward from Woodbridge, ON helped the Georgina Ice this month leading the team with 20pts in 9 games. He plays a solid 200ft game as most of those points came at even strength.”
