CAMBRIDGE, ON – The Provincial Junior Hockey League (PJHL) is pleased to announce a new multi-year partnership with blocktickets, a modern ticketing platform designed specifically for community-based hockey leagues.
This strategic partnership represents a significant step forward for the PJHL, delivering new revenue opportunities for the league and its member teams while modernizing the game-day experience for fans across Ontario. Through this agreement, blocktickets will become the league’s official ticketing platform, providing a reliable and easy-to-use solution to manage ticket sales, venue entry, and event operations.
As part of the partnership, blocktickets will also serve as the Presenting Sponsor of the 2026 Schmalz Cup, further reinforcing its commitment to supporting junior hockey and the PJHL’s premier championship event.
“This partnership is a major milestone for our league,” said PJHL Commissioner Terry Whiteside. “blocktickets understands the unique needs of junior hockey and community-based sport. Their platform not only enhances the fan experience, but also provides meaningful financial and operational support to our teams. We are excited about the long-term impact this partnership will have on the PJHL.”
“Junior hockey is built on community, and that’s exactly who we built blocktickets for,” said Harrison Cogan, Founder & CEO of blocktickets. “The PJHL is one of the strongest community-based leagues in the country, and we’re proud to support its teams with technology that simplifies operations, drives new revenue, and improves the experience for every fan who walks through the door. Being the presenting sponsor of the Schmalz Cup is a natural extension of our commitment to the league and to the future of junior hockey.”
This partnership reflects the PJHL’s continued commitment to innovation, sustainability, and delivering a high-quality experience for fans, teams, and communities across the league.
This partnership was supported by Innerscope Marketing, the PJHL’s marketing and partnership agency, whose efforts continue to drive strategic growth and new commercial opportunities for the league.
