PJHL Announces Port Perry Lumberjacks as the New East Conference All-Star Hosts

Presented by

Cambridge, ON – The Provincial Junior Hockey League is pleased to announce that the Port Perry Lumberjacks have been named the new host of the PJHL All-Star Game for the Eastern Conference. Port Perry’s All-Star game will take place on Saturday, December 28th at 2:30pm.

Port Perry joins the Tavistock Braves, Hanover Barons, and the Dresden Kings as part of All-Star game host teams, providing fans with a one-game match-up between the best and brightest stars of the Eastern Conference. The Eastern Conference will consist of stars from the Orr and the Tod divisions in a head-to-head match-up.

Lumberjacks General Manager, Tom Parish, voiced his excitement to bring a prestigious event to the Port Perry.

“The Port Perry LumberJacks are thrilled to host the 2024-25 PJHL Eastern Conference All Star game.  We can’t wait to fill the rink and show the small-town support that we have had since 1972.  Congratulations to the selected players and staff.”

The game will kick off at 2:30pm at the Scugog Arena, with opportunity for fans to be treated to a best-on-best game, and some high-end skills competitions between the two teams.

The All-Star games will have something on the line, as the winning conference will secure home ice advantage for their division in the conference finals if they come out victorious.

The PJHL All-Star game and MVP awards will be presented by MilkUP, who was also a proud sponsor of the PJHL Prospect Games on November 2nd.

“MilkUP provides meaningful, measurable and lasting impacts on young adults through sports and community activities, while highlighting the benefits of milk in a healthy, active lifestyle,” said Cheryl Smith, Chief Executive Officer of DFO. “We are proud of the athletes and are excited to see them showcasing their best skills in these conference games. Their talent is truly inspiring, and we are thrilled to support them as the title sponsor of the PJHL All-Star game and MVP awards.
