CAMBRIDGE, ON – The PJHL Power Rankings continue to evolve as the league moves deeper into the season, with key results over the past week driving noticeable movement throughout the Top 10. With teams jockeying for playoff positioning, consistency has become critical, and several clubs made strong statements with their recent performances.
Holding firm at No. 1, the Essex 73s remain the benchmark across the league, continuing to set the standard with another steady week. Right behind them, the Hanover Barons maintain their grip on second place, keeping pace with the league’s elite as the race tightens near the top, extending their winning streak to now 11 games.
One of the biggest movers this week is the Grimsby Peach Kings, who surge into the No. 3 spot after a strong stretch that has vaulted them five positions up the rankings, after key wins over Dundas and Hagersville, extending their winning streak to 9 games . The Woodstock Navy Vets also continue to trend upward, climbing to fourth and solidifying their place among the league’s upper tier.
Sliding slightly to fifth are the Lakefield Chiefs, who remain competitive despite a minor drop, while the Dundas Blues fall two spots to sixth following a challenging week. Both clubs remain well within striking distance as the middle of the rankings stays tightly contested.
Further down, the Uxbridge Bruins hold steady at seventh, continuing to battle through a competitive East Orr division. The Lakeshore Canadiens move up to eighth, following a 4-2 win over Blenheim, finding positive momentum as the season progresses. Meanwhile, the Georgina Ice slide to ninth after a difficult week but remain capable of climbing back up with strong results.
Rounding out the Top 10 are the Alliston Hornets, who continue to hold their place and remain firmly in the Power Rankings conversation.
