CAMBRIDGE, ON – The final weekend of the PJHL regular season delivered high-stakes matchups, standout individual performances, and crucial results as teams solidified their positioning ahead of the playoffs. With every point carrying postseason implications, players across the league rose to the occasion, capping off the regular season in memorable fashion.
Carter McDougall (Thamesford Trojans) — 38-save shutout
The West Yeck Division delivered an entertaining weekend, with teams battling for final positioning and every game carrying significance—especially for the Thamesford Trojans in their pursuit of the #1 seed. They opened their weekend against the Port Stanley Sailors, where goaltender Carter McDougall was phenomenal, posting a 38-save shutout in a commanding 4–0 Thamesford victory.
Colton Graham (Dresden Kings) — 2 goals, 3 assists
Cameron Graham (Dresden Kings) — 2 goals, 2 assists
Mackenzie Anderson (Dresden Kings) — 1 goal, 4 assists
The Dresden Kings delivered a dominant late-season offensive performance, scoring nine goals against the Walpole Island Wild. Colton Graham led the charge with two goals and three assists, while Cameron Graham added two goals and two assists, boosting his season total to 82 points and extending his impressive point streak to 12 games. Mackenzie Anderson complemented the effort with one goal and four assists, marking his best performance of the season.
Luke Brown (Huntsville Otters) — 35-save shutout
The Huntsville Otters secured a statement upset over the Orillia Terriers, powered by Luke Brown’s 35-save shutout. Brown was outstanding, earning his first shutout and win of the season while turning aside all 35 shots he faced in the 3–0 victory.
Daniel Stefan (Streetsville Derbys) — 2 goals, 2 assists
Aidan Russell (Streetsville Derbys) — 3 goals
Johnny Bahia (Streetsville Derbys) — 1 goal, 3 assists
The Streetsville Derbys continued their strong late-season form with a decisive 10–3 win over the Dunnville Mudcats. Despite being shorthanded, their top forwards delivered. Daniel Stefan recorded four points with two goals and two assists, Aidan Russell scored his second hat trick in the last four games, and Johnny Bahia contributed one goal and three assists to cap off an outstanding weekend performance.
Russell Vaughan (Blenheim Blades) — 28-save shutout
The Blenheim Blades concluded their season Saturday evening with a narrow 1–0 victory over the Wheatley Omstead Sharks. Russell Vaughan was exceptional, stopping all 28 shots he faced to earn his third shutout of the season and help secure the Blades’ 30th win of the year.
Ryan Russell (Stayner Siskins) — 4 assists
The Stayner Siskins continued their strong late-season stretch with a 6–3 victory over the Muskoka Bears, fueled by Ryan Russell’s playmaking ability. Russell recorded four assists, finishing his regular season with 56 points, including an impressive 42 assists.
Marcus Lazarevic (Hagersville Hawks) — 3 goals, 1 assist
Trent Chute (Hagersville Hawks) — 2 goals, 3 assists
Brendan Sullivan (Hagersville Hawks) — 4 assists
The Hagersville Hawks earned an upset victory over the Glanbrook Rangers, securing their fourth win of the season behind strong offensive performances. Marcus Lazarevic led the way with three goals and one assist, while Trent Chute recorded a season-best five-point effort with two goals and three assists. Brendan Sullivan continued his strong late-season play with four assists.
Blake Weicker (Penetang Kings) — 1 goal, 4 assists
Ty Hutton (Penetang Kings) — 3 goals, 1 assist
Wyndam Brownlee (Penetang Kings) — 3 goals, 1 assist
The Penetang Kings showcased their offensive depth in a dominant 10–1 win over the Huntsville Otters. Blake Weicker recorded one goal and four assists, marking the highest point total of his PJHL career in a single game. Ty Hutton and Wyndam Brownlee each contributed hat tricks to complete the commanding performance.
Trevor Nunn (Port Dover Sailors) — 3 goals, 1 assist
Port Dover captain Trevor Nunn capped off his impressive regular season with another standout performance. Nunn recorded a hat trick and one assist, finishing the season with 72 points, placing him among the league’s top 20 scorers.
Michael Ciaravella (Schomberg Cougars) — 3 goals
Nathan Marincola (Schomberg Cougars) — 1 goal, 3 assists
The Schomberg Cougars closed their regular season with an 8–3 victory, led by strong offensive performances from Michael Ciaravella and Nathan Marincola. Ciaravella recorded his first hat trick of the season, while Marincola contributed one goal and three assists.
Maddox Nazwaski (Exeter Hawks) — 37-save shutout
The Exeter Hawks secured first place in the West Yeck Division, thanks in large part to Maddox Nazwaski’s stellar performance against the Petrolia Flyers. In the PJHL Spotlight Matchup, Nazwaski stopped all 37 shots he faced against one of the league’s top offensive teams. His effort marked back-to-back shutouts to close the regular season, providing strong momentum heading into the playoffs.
