CAMBRIDGE, ON – The stakes couldn’t be higher as the PJHL Divisional Championships enter the home stretch. With Conference Final spots on the line, the past weekend was a masterclass in playoff hockey, fueled by elite individual performances and high-octane finishes across the league.
Tyler Bouck (Woodstock Navy Vets) — 53-save shutout
Bouck, a four-year starter for the Navy Vets, delivered what may stand as the biggest performance of his PJHL career, turning aside all 53 shots he faced in a Game 4 shutout to even the series at 2–2. The victory marked his first shutout of the playoffs, achieved on the road in a must-win scenario for Woodstock. The overage netminder will need to maintain that elite level of play as the Navy Vets look to complete the comeback and capture the Doherty Division title.
Keegan Juchua (Frankford Huskies) — 3 goals
The Frankford Huskies responded emphatically to a 7–2 Game 3 loss with an 8–2 Game 4 victory, powered by Keegan Juchua’s hat trick. Acquired from Trent Hills in early January to strengthen the Huskies’ lineup, Juchua has provided a consistent offensive spark, now totaling 14 points through 13 playoff games.
Noah Lundgren (Fergus Whalers) — 30-save shutout
In his first season with the Whalers, Lundgren has been outstanding throughout the divisional round, highlighted by a 30-save shutout in Game 5 that secured the franchise’s first Pollock Division title. He finished the series with an impressive .963 save percentage, including two shutouts.
Joey Martin (Fergus Whalers) — 2 goals, 3 assists
Regular-season scoring leader Joey Martin delivered a dominant Game 5 performance, recording five points in the series-clinching win. He set the tone early with three second-period assists before adding two third-period goals to seal the victory. The Whalers now await the winner of Stayner and Alliston for the North Conference Championship.
Brandon Leblanc (Lakeshore Canadiens) — 2 goals, 1 assist
The Lakeshore Canadiens continued their comeback push with consecutive wins in Games 4 and 5, narrowing the series deficit to 3–2 against Essex. LeBlanc was instrumental in the Game 5 victory, scoring twice and adding an assist on Julian Gignac’s overtime winner. The series now shifts back to Lakeshore for a pivotal Game 6.
Duncan Grube (Alliston Hornets) — 2 goals, 1 assist
Alliston earned a crucial Game 5 road victory over Stayner, with Duncan Grube playing the hero in overtime. The Hornets’ standout forward, who now has 23 points in 13 playoff games, tied the game midway through the third period before striking early in overtime to force a Game 6 back in Alliston.
Robby DiMaria (Uxbridge Bruins) — 24-save shutout
DiMaria continued his steady presence between the pipes, backstopping the Bruins to a series-clinching Game 6 win in Clarington. He stopped all 24 shots he faced, earning his fourth shutout of the playoffs. With the victory, Uxbridge captures the Orr Division title and advances to face Frankford in the East Conference Championship.
