Top Weekend Performances – November 28-30, 2025

CAMBRIDGE, ON – Another busy weekend across the PJHL saw several standout performances from players who continue to raise the bar as the season rolls on. From multi-point outbursts to clutch goaltending displays, here are the Top Weekend Performers.

Seth Kirou (Georgina Ice) – 1 goal, 4 assists
Alessandro Petreccia (Georgina Ice) – 1 goal, 4 assists
Two of the top scorers in the PJHL flexed their offensive talent at home Friday against Caledon, each recording five-point performances in an 11–2 win.

Sami Najem-Douglas (Walkerton Capitals) – 3 goals, 1 assist
Newly acquired forward Sami Najem-Douglas has been a welcomed addition to Walkerton, delivering his best performance yet with a four-point night—three goals and an assist—in a win over Mitchell.

Eamon Callaghan (Port Perry Lumberjacks) – 28-save shutout
A brilliant outing from Callaghan led the Lumberjacks to an upset win Friday over the division-leading Uxbridge Bruins. Callaghan stopped all 28 shots he faced, securing the shutout against his former team.

Owen Moreau (Penetang Kings) – 36-save shutout
The first of two Penetang goaltending masterclasses came from Owen Moreau, who turned aside all 36 shots from the Innisfil Spartans Friday night—earning his first career PJHL shutout.

Connor Kingsley (Georgina Ice) – 3 goals 
In a comeback win over Little Britain, Kingsley took over in the final frame, scoring all three of his goals in the third period—including two shorthanded—to lift Georgina to a 5–2 victory.

Landon Simec (Penetang Kings) – 41 saves on 42 shots 
After Moreau’s shutout the night prior, Simec followed with a standout performance of his own. Facing the North Carruthers–leading Alliston Hornets, Simec stopped 41 of 42 shots in a tight, low-scoring win.

Tyler Bouck (Woodstock Navy Vets) – 41-save shutout
Despite being outshot on the road in Dorchester Saturday night, Bouck stood tall, turning away all 41 shots to backstop Woodstock to a 4–0 victory.

Trevor Nunn (Port Dover Sailors) – 3 goals 
Nunn continues to lead the way for Port Dover. In another standout performance, he scored all three Sailors goals before adding the shootout winner to secure the victory.

Joey Martin (Fergus Whalers) – 2 goals, 5 assists
Jacob Lesser (Fergus Whalers) – 3 goals, 2 assists
In an 11-goal offensive outburst from Fergus, Martin and Lesser dominated. Martin—tied for second in PJHL scoring—posted seven points, while Lesser extended his incredible 10-game goal streak with a hat trick and two assists.

Xavier Bussiere (Wellesley Applejacks) – 32-save shutout
With the South Doherty Division tightening, Bussiere delivered a clutch road performance Sunday in Hespeler, stopping all 32 shots to lead the Applejacks to a 3–0 win.
