If there was ever an arena built for Junior hockey –PJHL -I witnessed it a couple of weeks ago in Innisfil.
Close to 600 people sat comfortably to watch an entertaining game between Innisfil Spartans and
Caledon Golden Hawks.
The stands had a large group of Innisfil minor hockey players with their team jerseys on which added to
the Atmosphere.
Just like in the movies the home team came from behind with a goal in the last minute to help the
Spartans win their home opener 4-3.
New owner George Floros was really excited about his new team hitting the ice in Innisfil in front of a
great crowd. The Spartans are off to a good start after three weeks with 3 wins and 2 losses.
