Gilchrist and Dupuis Named Western Conference Players Of The Month For February

The PJHL are pleased to announce that Hunter Gilchrist of the Port Stanley Sailors and Dylan Dupuis of the Mooretown Flags have been named the February Western Conference Players of the Month.  

Yeck Division – Hunter Gilchrist of the Port Stanley Sailors topped off his regular season with 3 goals and 13 assists for 16 points in his 7 games last month. In that stretch, the forward amassed at least 3 points in 4 out of the 7 contests, including a stellar 6-point night against the Exeter Hawks on February 9th. In his third season, Gilchrist matched his career high in goals, but saw a 20-assist increase from his previous season. Gilchrist lead his team in points with 42 and power play points with 13.  

Stobbs Division – Dylan Dupuis of the Mooretown Flags grabbed his second Player of the Month award in as many months with 7 goals and 13 assists for 20 points. Dupuis recorded a multi-point game in 8 of the 9 games within the month of February, and finished the season picking up 3 points in his final three regular season games. With 33 goals and 46 assists, the Corunna native finished 5th in scoring across the PJHL.
