Anselmini and Hrinco Named Northern Conference Players Of The Month For February

The PJHL are pleased to announce that Ty Anselmini of the Fergus Whalers and Andrew Hrinco of the Schomberg Cougars have been named the February Northern Conference Players of the Month.  

Pollock Division – Ty Anselmini of the Fergus Whalers finished the regular season with 5 goals and 7 assists for 12 points for the month of February. In his five games, he put up 4 points in two separate occasions. Prior to his final game of the regular season, Ty went on a 13-game point streak picking up an incredible 37 points in that span. Finishing the season with 25 goals and 38 assists for 63 points, the Whalers leading scorer finishes the regular season 10th in points per game across the PJHL.  

Carruthers Division – Andrew Hrinco of the Schomberg Cougars wrapped up the regular season with 2 goals and 7 assists in the month of February. The defenceman finished tied for the team lead in points with 35. With 13 goals and 22 assists on the season, Hrinco finishes in the top 20 PJHL defenceman in scoring. He also finishes second in the league among defenceman for Power Play Goals with 10. The Cougars alternative captain reached a grand total of 50 PJHL career assists in his 3rd season in the team.
