Tichenoff and Dupuis named Western Conference Players of the Month for January

Tichenoff set single season points record for North Middlesex Stars with 84 points

Cambridge, ON – The Provincial Junior Hockey League is pleased to announce that Ethan Tichenoff of the North Middlesex Stars and Dylan Dupuis of the Mooretown Flags have been named the January Western Conference Players of the Month.

Yeck Division – Ethan Tichenoff of the North Middlesex Stars picked up 20 points (9 goals, 11 assists) in 8 games in the month of January. Tichenoff had five multi-point games, including an impressive 2 goals and 4 assists on January 21st against the Mt. Brydges Bulldogs. Tichenoff joined the Stars in the 2021/2022 season and quickly established himself as a scorer. In his 3rd season, he has set the North Middlesex Stars all-time single season points record with 84 points and counting.

Stobbs Division – Dylan Dupuis of the Mooretown Flags carried 15 points (6 goals, 9 assists) in 7 games for the month of January. Dupuis was consistent all month long, having three 3-point games and currently carries a 13-game point streak dating back to December 16th. The 19-year-old sits 7th in points across the league, and 6th in goals.
